Memory in innate immunity

In recent conference at Wellcome TrustMeeting on Innate Immune Memory held in Hinxton, Cambridge, March 13-20,2015,the topic of memory in innate immune system was intensively discussed.

Infection changes the epigenetic profiles, metabolism and cell populations of innate immune cells and system, whichgenerates memory effects and causes the high immune response upon secondarychallenge. This progress revised the dogma of immunology about innate immuneresponse and will have a great impact on the function of innate immune inautoinflammatory disease, vaccination and immunotherapy.
